To provide students with opportunities to interact with wide a range of companies, and to help them better plan for their future careers, XMUM Career Services Office held the very first “XMUM Digital Career & Internship Fair” via the “ConnectNOW” app during 23-27 November 2020.

In this 5-day event, 28 local and multinational companies joined as potential employers, offering internship and full-time opportunities to students from various programmes. All students need to do was to download the “ConnectNOW” app and to register using the link provided by XMUM Career Services Office.

Students would be able to seek out the perfect internship placement and to attend interviews at their own pace.

Beyond personal and corporate pitches, organizers conducted talks on how to make informed career choices and offered tips for getting hired. This is especially useful for students who want to acquaint themselves with various professions and companies and to better equip themselves for the job-seeking process. Most attendees of the digital career fair said that they have gained a lot from the webinars, networking events and exhibitions.
