An Admission Pathway Agreement was signed between Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) and Australian National University (ANU) on 13 March 2019, which allows XMUM students to enter Master of International Management (MiM) programme at ANU with a few privileges. Agreements pertaining to programmes in the fields of Finance and Accounting will also be signed in the future.

ANU is a national research university located in Canberra, capital of Australia. According to the QS World University Rankings 2019, it ranks #1 in Australia and Oceania, #24 among universities all over the world.

Dr. Andrew Bradly, Deputy Director (Education) of Research School of Management, ANU College of Business and Economics (CBE) and Ms. Sarah Bown, International Partnership and Recruitment Coordinator, visited XMUM on the same day to give XMUM students a briefing on the pathways.

Some of the exciting privileges that XMUM students can enjoy are: 

1. 50% tuition waiver for top students applying to CBE, ANU
2. AUSD 10,000 per year scholarship available for high achievers from partner university for a duration of 2 years
3. Application fees of AUSD 100 waived for XMUM students
4. No personal statement and recommendation letters needed when doing web application
5. 10 places reserved for XMUM student to enter CBE, ANU per year (5 for February semester and 5 for July semester)

The entry requirements to MiM are as follows:

1. Completion of recognised undergraduate degree programme at XMUM
2. GPA 3.0 or higher during undergraduate studies
3. Meeting English proficiency requirements of ANU
