Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) successfully held its Campus Career Fair on 23 October 2024, at A3#GF. The event attracted a total of 65 employers, offering over 1,600 full-time positions and 1,200 internship opportunities. More than 2,800 students and alumni attended, exploring various career paths and engaging directly with industry professionals.

The fair featured industry-leading companies, including local firms like Proton and Top Glove; Chinese companies such as CRRC and Vivo; and multinational corporations like DHL and HSBC. These companies represented a wide array of fields, including finance, IT, retail, engineering, and traditional Chinese medicine, providing students with diverse career options.
At the event, employers shared their industry insights, offering students valuable opportunities to gain firsthand information about potential career paths. Many employers praised the organization of the event, noting its effectiveness in connecting students with industry needs.

Keshav from HSBC Malaysia introduced their global program, which is set to launch in July 2025, offering opportunities in commercial banking and WPP. He emphasized, “Academic performance is not the most important; the willingness to grow is key.”
Zijun of Vivo appreciated the students' efforts: “I can sense that students have clear plans for their future. We offer many brand promotion opportunities that align with their career aspirations.”
Iskandar, a representative from Proton, remarked, “The career fair is a great opportunity for both students and companies. Many students visited our booth and submitted their resumes. We are particularly looking for Mandarin-speaking candidates for our Chinese projects, which benefits both the students and the company.”
