Executive Dean of Dublin Business School Shares Further Studies Options with XMUM Students
Mr. Andrew Conlan-Trant, Executive Dean of Dublin Business School (DBS), together with his colleague, Mr. James Browne, Senior Lecturer of Accounting, visited XMUM students on 5 July 2018 to share and discuss further studies options with XMUM students. Based on the MOU signed between XMUM and DBS on 3 May 2018, XMUM students can enjoy several privileges when pursuing their further studies at DBS.
Established in 1975, Dublin Business School now has about 9000 students of more than 80 nationalities. It is ranked first for the Independent College in Ireland and has been awarded the “Overall Excellence in Education Prize” this year. Currently, DBS offers more than 100 Irish government accredited programmes.
Mr. Andrew shared information on the different master’s programmes offered at DBS, covering a wide range of subjects including Business Administration, Management Practice, Finance, Marketing, Information & Communication Technology, as well as Humanities & Social Sciences. On top of that, accounting major students can pursue their Professional Accountancy qualification with DBS, namely the ACCA and CIMA. For these, students can choose to study in three different modes, i.e. in the classroom at Dublin Business School, online, or on demand (currently only available for CIMA).
Students who are interested to know more about the DBS master’s programmes or any related information are welcomed to drop by the International Affairs Office at B1 #203 or email us at intaffairs@xmu.edu.my.
