With the slogan of “hire the best, work for the best”, Career & Internship Fair 2019 was successfully held at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) on 18 December 2019. 20 large transnational as well as local companies from a wide range of sectors attended as recruiters, including PwC, Inventech, Hitachi eBowrx, Tan Chong Group, etc, offering students a great chance for internship and full-time job hunting. 

This event was jointly organized by Internspoon, a career service platform that connects students with employers, and the student unions of three XMUM ICT programmes, i.e. Computer Science and Technology, Software Engineering, and Digital Media Technology.

A wide variety of jobs were provided at the Fair, including lots of ICT related positions, as well as opportunities such as marketing and product design for students of other majors. The event also contained a pitching session, allowing students to present themselves in front of the employers to show their talent and skills, and fight for their preferred position.

During the event, students not only gained a chance to communicate with the employers face-to-face, but also greatly expanded their job search network. Some freshmen also made use of the Fair to gather contact information from company representatives to plan for their future career development.
