Associate Principal of University of Strathclyde Meets XMUM Students

Prof. Douglas Brodie,the Associate Principal & Executive Dean of University of Strathclyde, Glasgow (UoS), together with his colleague Prof. Maozu Lu, the Director of Strathclyde China Institute and Business School of UoS, visited Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) on 21st May 2018 and introduced the pathway into the master programme of UoS to XMUM students.

Prof. Brodie did brief introduction of the city Glasgow, University of Strathclyde, and majors of Masters programme, including TESOL & Intercultural Communication, Media and Communication, Business Translation & Interpreting, Digital Journalism, International Management & Law, International Relations, Business & Management, and to name a few. He specified the admission requirement and the scholarship offered, as well as the upcoming summer school programme. Prof. Brodie also encouraged XMUM students to discover more in Glasgow. 

The students were given chances to ask questions and each of them were addressed individually. 

At the end of the talk, Prof Lu explained on the application time and the pre-sessional courses. For those studnets who needed more details, he also further explained to them.

On the side note, University of Strathclyde and Xiamen University Malaysia have signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 22nd May 2018 and the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) will also be signed soon.
