SEPANG: The 5th Photojournalism Exhibition has been held at Xiamen University Malaysia from 24 to 27 December 2019.

With the theme "Single Mother: The Sole Breadwinner", this exhibition is the final project of "Photojournalism", a course provided to students majoring in Journalism Programme. 

Dr. Wang Changsong, Programme Coordinator of Journalism & Advertising Programmes, and Mr. Muhammad Afiq Sukiman, the project advisor, were invited to officiate the opening ceremony on 24 December.

"The theme showcases a progression of narrative photographs that illustrates the positive approaches to observe the efforts and challenges of the single mothers in the society." Dr. Wang Changsong said. 

Muhammad Afiq Sukiman said: " 'Single Mother: The Sole Breadwinner' exhibits a series of documentary photographs that portray the positive ways to observe single mothers in the society."

This event exhibits a total of 21 photos from seven groups, where each group is required to showcase three of their work.
