As the Director of CONNECT, I am thrilled to announce exciting opportunities for Process and Project Engineers to join the ground-breaking project titled "Scale-Up of Photocatalytic Hydrogen Production and Storage for Fuel Cells and Energy Storage Devices" at the Center of Excellence for NaNo Energy & Catalysis Technology (#CONNECT), Xiamen University Malaysia (#XMUM).

This initiative, in direct collaboration with local industry and MOSTI in Malaysia, offers a unique chance to contribute to pioneering advancements in sustainable energy technology, creating real impacts in Malaysia and beyond.

At CONNECT, we are building a prototype green hydrogen production system as part of this inspiring project. This cutting-edge system aims to advance clean energy solutions, positioning Malaysia at the forefront of sustainable technology development.

Qualifications:

• Open to local candidates only
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent (PhD holders will also be considered)
• Extensive experience in 3D printing and 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks and AutoCAD)
• Proficiency in reactor design and prototype setup
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot prototypes
• Excellent organizational and project management capabilities
