XMUM Students Win National Third Prize in China University Business Elite Challenge

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre congratulates a group of undergraduate student from Xiamen University Malaysia for winning the National Third Prize in the China University Business Elite Challenge 2025.

Consisting of Chen Jiayi (Advertising), Hou Bowen (Data Science), and Ouyang Xiaoxuan (International Business), the group of three competed under the guidance of Assistant Professor Sang Kun from the School of Communication.

During the competition, the entrepreneurial teams are required to simulate the following processes: cash acquisition, intellectual property, and physical assets, market-environment analysis, human-resource management, product/service management, marketing management, financing management, enterprise liquidation, etc.

 

The China University Business Elite Challenge is a competition jointly organized by the Commercial Industry Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, as well as commercial associations and public institutions. Among its events, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Track has been held since 2013, targeting university students in higher education. It aims to cultivate students' awareness of innovation and entrepreneurial ability, build an interactive platform for industry-academia-research exchanges, and help student startup teams and early-stage enterprises launch and refine their projects.
