The HSBC Malaysia Business Case Competition is one of the largest platforms that allows young undergraduates to apply their practical business knowledge and skills to realistic business scenarios. The competition was first held in Malaysia in 2014 and the winners of this prestigious case competition will have the chance to represent Malaysia in the HSBC/HKU Asia Pacific Business Case Competition, which is described asthe largest business case competition for undergraduates worldwide.
As part of the HSBC Future Skills agenda, a team of four (4) undergraduates representing their respective universities compete against other teams in business strategy-making and presentation. The team will apply technical, critical thinking, and soft skills to analyze a business case, suggest solutions that address the issues raised in the case, and present their strategies to a panel of business executive judges. The participation was by invitation only with each invited university able to send only one (1) team to the competition in the year of 2024.
