Postgraduate Student Council (PGSC) hosted a half-day event named Postgraduate Connection Day on 10 April 2023 at A2#110. The event aims to connect postgraduate students and academic staff across different schools/departments. The Heads of Departments, Heads of Programmes and academic representatives officiated the event beneath the witness of postgraduate students. The event has attracted fifty-five participants.

The Postgraduate Connection Day began with the PGSC Installation Ceremony of 2023. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wang Changsong (Head of Department of Advertising and Journalism) and Dr. Angela Paul a/p Peter (Research and Postgraduate Centre) administered the oath of office as the PGSC advisor and mentor, respectively. On behalf of the pioneer PGSC committees, Chin Min Yee, President of PGSC 2023, delivered her acceptance speech and expressed appreciation for the University’s unwavering support.

XMUM postgraduate students utilised the networking lunch session to interact and share their research experiences with one another across different faculties. The Postgraduate Connection Day ended with teambuilding activities commenced at the Postgraduate Lounge (A2#113) after the networking session.
