XMUM Signs MOU with Chaintope on University-Industry Cooperation

Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on university-industry cooperation with Chaintope Malaysia, one of the leading IT companies from Japan, to provide internships and employment opportunities for students and to establish win-win cooperation between both parties.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Vincent Soh Chee Hong, Manager of Student Affairs (Career Services) of XMUM, and Mr. Junya Yoshizaki, Chaintopes Chief Operating Officer. Software engineer Jimmy Tee from Chaintope witnessed the signing ceremony.

According to Mr. Vincent Soh Chee Hong, the internship and industrial training opportunities offered by Chaintope Malaysia would help more XMUM students gain first-hand working experience, and improve their competitiveness in the job market, while enabling Chaintope to recruit outstanding talents in advance.

Chaintope Malaysia is a provider of professional consultation and solutions in the area of blockchain, serving top clients across the country. At present, Chaintope is cooperating with XMUM on several research projects, which have provided invaluable development opportunities and practical resources for university staff and students.
