On 13 May 2022, XMUM School of Energy and Chemical Engineering successfully organized XMUM Materials Lecture Competition (XMUM-MLC) 2022.
In this lecture-based competition, each participant was asked to deliver a 15-minute presentation related to Materials or Mineral Science and Engineering, and answer questions from 3 different judges.
The event was co-hosted by Center for Postgraduate Studies and Research (CPSR).
Dr. Ban Zhen Hong, Dr. Haw Choon Yian and Dr. Braedan Foo from School of Energy and Chemical Engineering were invited to serve as the judges. Yeow Teck Ann, a third-year undergraduate student from Chemical Engineering Programme, won the first prize with a cash prize of RM 500, while Khor Chee Zheng (Computer Science and Technology Programme) and Andersson T'ng Khai Shern (Chemical Engineering Programme) earned the second prize and the third prize, respectively. Yeow Teck Ann will represent XMUM in the National MLC 2022.
Below is the list of the prize winners and the titles of their presentations:
Prize | Name (Department) | Title of Presentation |
