Claim Procedure





Notes:

1. For claims under research grant, except FRGS, please email the claim forms and supporting documents ione PDF file to Grant Claims (grantclaims@xmu.edu.my) for review.

2. For FRGS-related claims, please email the documents in one PDF file to RPC (rmc@xmu.edu.my) for review.

3. After the softcopy documents have been reviewed and finalized, please print out the documents, sign physically and drop them into the letterbox outside of the RPC office (A3-706). 

4. Please do not submit the hardcopy directly to the RPC without review of the softcopy.

5. Please note the following cut-off dates (example as shown above):

a) For hardcopy documents submitted by the 7th, the payment of claims shall be received on the last day of the same month.

b) For hardcopy documents submitted by the 22nd, the payment of claims shall be received on the 15th of the following month.

6. Related applications under research grants (such as research travel application, budget reallocation request and Research Student Assistant appointment) will still be processed electronically. Please email the documents in one PDF file to the corresponding personnel:

a) Grant Claims for non-FRGS-related applications. 

b) RPC for FRGS-related applications.

7. For purchases and claims under V27000 (Research Materials), V28000 (Minor Modifications and Repairs) and V35000 (Equipment and Accessoriesincluding software), please contact Ms. Siti Najihah from the Laboratory Centre (siti.najihah@xmu.edu.my).

The Higher Institution Centre of Excellence (HICoE) program is a program implemented by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) to drive research excellence in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the specific research niche areas. The recognition as HICoE is awarded by the MoHE to a Centre of Excellence (CoE) that demonstrates exceptional achievements and performance in the specific research niche area.

Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 2–9

Eligibility: Malaysian citizens (as the Principal Investigator) from Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Start-up Companies, Associations, Cooperatives, Registered Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and individuals where priority will be given to those with disabilities (OKU), youth and single mothers. XMUM academic staff can participate as collaborators/co-researchers.
