On 17 November 2025, a delegation from Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) visited the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) to further strengthen academic collaboration and enhance teaching quality under their ongoing TCM partnership.

A delegation of 5 members from XMUM, led by Prof. Dr. Chen Shaodong, Dean of STCM, met with UPM representatives involved in the collaboration, including visiting lecturers, programme managers, and lab technicians supporting the teaching and management of eight Western Medicine courses under the TCM programme.

The meeting offered an opportunity to strengthen personal connections, gain a better understanding of UPM's facilities, and discuss academic arrangements and teaching enhancements, as well as address any issues raised by the lecturers.

Following the discussions, the XMUM delegation toured UPM's campus, visiting key facilities such as the anatomy museum and the clinical skills laboratory, where XMUM students will attend classes.
