School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Xiamen University Malaysia hosted an External Examiner (EE) and Industry Advisory Panel (IAP) visit on 19 July 2024, to review the curriculum structure and ensure the continuous improvement of the quality curriculum development.

The review was conducted by Dr. Te Kian Keong from UTAR and Dr. Wong Zhi Hang from IMU, who served as External Examiners, and Dr. Ong Siew Siew from IMU, representing the Industry Advisory Panel.

The meeting was attended by Dean of the School of TCM, Prof. Dr. Chen Shaodong; Head of Programme, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kim Yun Jin; former Dean, Prof. Dr. Qian Linchao; Dr. Aslam Muhammad Shahzad; Dr. Chep Lee Lu Siang; Dr. Lim Chee Hong; Dr. Tan Hong Yien; Dr. Wong Guo Lin and School Administrator Sek JiaMin.

During the visit, attendees engaged in detailed discussions regarding the structure and staffing of the School of TCM, as well as a thorough review of the programme's description. Dr. Ong from IMU also shared her expertise on industry trends and innovations, cenriching the discussion on potential curriculum enhancements.
