BIOGRAPHY

Chris Chung hails from Kuching, Sarawak (East Malaysia). After completing his Bachelor of Science with distinction in Mathematics from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor (USA) and his Master of Mathematical Sciences from the Australian National University in Canberra (Australia), he obtained his PhD in Mathematics (Algebra) from the University of Virginia (USA). In 2020, Chris moved to the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (Japan) for a postdoctoral position with the Representation Theory and Algebraic Combinatorics (Speyer) unit. Since 2024, he is an Assistant Professor with Xiamen University Malaysia.
