BIOGRAPHY

Dr Yeap Swee Keong graduated his PhD from Universiti Putra Malaysia. His research interests including basic and applied immunology, novel food/drug discovery, natural products bioactivities and identification of genetic markers for diseases management and crop improvement. Dr Yeap has received several grants to support his research. In 2019, he was invited as the international expert member for an AHEAD grant funded by World Bank to the Sri Lanka Gov agency. Besides, he was also the Assistant Dean of China-ASEAN College of Marine Sciences and Head of Marine Biotechnology Programme. Currently, he is focusing in the implementation of Outcome Based Education (OBE) to improve the teaching and learning approaches for the Marine Biotechnology Programme.
