BIOGRAPHY

Yong Chean Yeah obtained B. Sc. (Hons.) in Microbiology in 2008 and Ph.D. in Genetic Engineering and Molecular Biology in 2015 from Universiti Putra Malaysia. Upon graduation, he worked as a part-time lecturer in Taylor’s University from 2015-2016 before working as a post-doctoral research fellow in Universiti Putra Malaysia from 2016-2019. Thereafter, he joined Xiamen University Malaysia as a part-time lecturer from 2020-2021, followed by senior research fellow in Sunway University from 2021-2022, before he returned to Xiamen University Malaysia as a lecturer (2022-present).
