XMUM School of Traditional Chinese Medicine Signs MoU with UTAR


The School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with T&CM Centre of University Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Kampar Campus for cooperation in clinical training and academic exchange.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Prof. Qian Linchao (Dean of XMUM School of Traditional Chinese Medicine), Ir. Prof. Dato’ Ewe Hong Tat (President & Dean of UTAR), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Te Kian Keong (Centre Director and Principal Practitioner of T&CM UTAR), and Mr. Vincent Soh Chee Hong (Manager of XMUM Career Services Office).

Prof. Qian Linchao said: “We’re impressed by the T&CM facilities and the whole set-up in T&CM Centre is an ideal training platform. This will provide our students with opportunities to acquire skills and knowledge to become competent TCM practitioners.

Ir. Prof. Dato’ Ewe said: We will initiate collaboration in TCM training, academic exchange, and medical research. By nurturing professionals in various fields, we inherently will contribute positive economic and political impact to the compelling Belt and Road Initiatives (BRI).’’

Asso. Prof. Dr. Kim Yun Jun (Head of Programme of Traditional Chinese Medicine, XMUM) and Dr. Chen I-Chi (Division of Community and International Networking Deputy Director UTAR) also attended the event.
