The Innovation Center congratulates 4 XMUM undergraduates for winning the First Prize in the China-U.S. Young Maker Competition Xiamen Division. 

The team was led by Hu Xinwen (Advertising Programme), with team members Wu Minfeng (Artificial Intelligence Programme), Yin Yue (Software Engineering Programme) and Yang Hang (Accounting Programme). Their project E-Guardian: Temperature Feeling and Location Tracking System is about a system equipped with temperature and location sensors in cars’ batteries as a part of preventive action.

Organized by the Ministry of Education, People’s Republic of China, this competition encourages young innovators to create ground breaking projects focusing on challenges from climate change and sustainable development, exploring opportunities on resilient communities, environmental education, low carbon, food system, crisis response, health and well-being, etc.
