Dr Chong Su Sin received the M.Sc. degrees in applied physics from National University of Malaysia in 2011 and Ph.D degree in engineering from University Malaya, Malaysia, in 2016. She subsequently joined School of Mathematics, Computer Science & Engineering at City, University of London, United Kingdom as a researcher. She currently works as an assistant professor at Xiamen University Malaysia, Department of Energy and Chemical Engineering. Her current research interest includes the smart window, green synthesis and application of carbon-based quantum dots, although she has concurrent research in design and development in fiber optics sensor.
