Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with TusStar Malaysia and Yellow Leads for XMUM’s Advertising Programme.

The MoUs aim to promote collaboration between university and industry, and to identify potential industrial training projects to help Advertising students gain practical experience.    

The signing ceremonies were held on 30 November 2021 for TusStar and 8 March 2022 for Yellow Leads. Associate Professor Dr. Wang Changsong, the Head of XMUM Department of Journalism and Advertising, signed the MoUs on behalf of the department. TusStar Malaysia was represented by its Chief Executive Officer Ms. Ravenna Chen, while Yellow Leads was represented by its Director Mr. Ng Soon Sun.

Under the strategic collaboration arrangement, the Department of Journalism and Advertising will work closely with TusStar Malaysia and Yellow Leads to enhance the learning experience of Advertising Programme students through joint activities such as tutorials, seminars and workshops.

As part of this collaboration, TusStar Malaysia and Yellow Leads will share the latest industry insights with the university and provide internship opportunities for the final year Advertising students.
