Cardiff University Chamber Choir conducted a concert on 2 July 2023 at Xiamen University Malaysia, feasting over 500 audiences with their exhilarating musical performance.

Dr. Peter Leech from School of Music, Cardiff University served as the conductor. In the 90-minute event, audiences were given the chance to experience a series of repertoire ranging from Renaissance works to contemporary music.

Various clubs and societies of XMUM, including the Dance Club, Philharmonic Orchestra Society and Yanan Chinese Orchestra, also performed on the stage, showcasing the talents of XMUM students.

A public research university in Cardiff, Wales, Cardiff University is the only Welsh member of the Russell Group of research-intensive British universities. Since 2018, Xiamen University Malaysia has been working in collaboration with Cardiff University to expand students’ international exposure.
