Dr. Tee Lee Hong is an Assistant Professor at the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering, Xiamen University Malaysia. She holds a degree in Chemical Engineering (Hons) from the University Malaysia Sabah, Master of Science in Process Engineering from University Putra Malaysia and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Monash University. Her research interests include natural product processing, bioactive compound extraction and purification, sustainable and green extraction processes, separation technology, and water research. She has published her research work in prestigious journals such as Food Chemistry, Industrial Crops and Products, and Journal of Food Science and Technology. Her outstanding contributions to the field earned her the Engineering & IT Future Women Leadership Award from Monash University Malaysia in 2018. Additionally, she has been recognized with several awards from international competitions such as IUCEL, MTE, and e-ConDev.
