On 21 January 2025, Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) hosted the closing ceremony for the Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine (YUCM) Mobility Programme, marking the successful completion of the international exchange. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Zhang Ying, Vice President of XMUM, Prof. Yin Weiping, YUCM representative, and faculty members from XMUM’s School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (STCM).

The ceremony began with a speech from Dr. Zhang Ying, followed by remarks from Prof. Chen Shaodong, Dean of STCM, and Prof. Yin Weiping. The postgraduate students from YUCM shared their reflections on the academic and cultural experiences they gained during their exchange.

At the conclusion of the event, the students were awarded certificates of completion, officially marking the end of their time at XMUM. The exchange programme provided them with valuable opportunities to develop their skills, broaden their international perspectives, and strengthen their knowledge in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

This mobility programme has reinforced the academic ties between XMUM and YUCM, providing a platform for further collaboration in the future.
