Prof. Eunkyu Lee, the Associate Dean for Global Initiatives at Whitman School of Management, Syracuse University, paid a visit to Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) on 29 May 2023, with the purpose of seeking potential collaboration.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zhang Ying, the Vice-President of XMUM and Prof. Long Xiaoning from XMUM School of Economics and Management expressed their warm welcome and great hospitality to the guest.

Aiming to expand collaborations with universities in the United States & provide XMUM students more choices to further their studies overseas, the two parties conferred on the possibility of establishing a Postgraduate Study Pathway in the field of economics and management, allowing XMUM students to pursue further education with more flexibilities.

Later in the day, Prof. Eunkyu Lee gave a seminar on “Brand Management – Cosmetic Makeup or  Quest for the Soul?”, sharing insights on brand management together with various activities, which provided students with a brief experience of attending classes at Syracuse University.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yang Junjie, the Assistant Dean of the School of Economics and Management, Prof. Leu, Gwo-Jiun, the Head of International Business Department, as well as Prof. Long Xiaoning and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Beatrice Loo Poh Theng from the School of Economics and Management attended the seminar.
