BIOGRAPHY

I am Guash Haile Taddele, I was born and grew up in Ethiopia. I obtained bachelor’s degree (BEd.) in Mathematics education and Master of Science (MSc.) in Mathematics from Dire Dawa University and Arba Minch University, Ethiopia, respectively. I also earned a PhD. degree in Mathematics from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Thailand and recently completed a 1-year postdoctoral fellowship from the same university. I have been working as a Lecturer in Mathematics at Debre Berhan University. My research interests include convex analysis and optimization, fixed point theory and applications, and Iterative methods for nonlinear problems. I have studied the general split feasibility problem and introduced several iterative techniques for solving it. I am now appointed at Xiamen University Malaysia as Assistant Professor in Mathematics.
