On 18 March 2023, IEM (Institution of Engineers, Malaysia) - XMUM Student Section participated the IEM X ESUM Open Day 2023, connecting with leading corporations and learning the latest news related to engineering fields, both in education and career development. 

Held at Dewan Tunku Canselor, Universiti Malaya, this Open Day was organized by the Young Engineers Section (YES) under the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM). 

During the day, the students were able to interact with different student sections and join a few sub-events, including a career fair involving over 40 corporations, IEM Sembang Chillex, Coffee Networking Session and Career Talkshow on the topic of “How to Write a Great Resume for Young Engineers”, to explore more career opportunities after graduation, 

As one of the largest professional organizations in Malaysia, IEM aims to promote and advance the science and profession of engineering in any or all of its disciplines and to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas related to engineering. 

IEM-XMUM Student Section is an XMUM student section that serves as a platform for students to network with engineers from IEM, being exposed to the professional engineering field through various events that further enhance a student’s professional development.
