Center for Postgraduate Studies and Research congratulates Associate Professor Dr. Dulip Piyaratne from XMUM Department of Mathematics for publishing a research article in Journal of Algebraic Geometry, an SCI Tier 1 journal under American Mathematical Society. 

This research has been conducted along with Prof. Georg Oberdieck from the University of Bonn and Prof. Yukinobu Toda from the University of Tokyo.  

In the paper “Donaldson-Thomas invariants of abelian threefolds and Bridgeland stability conditions”, the authors studied the reduced Donaldson-Thomas theory of abelian threefolds using Bridgeland stability conditions. The main result is the invariance of the reduced Donaldson-Thomas invariants under the all derived auto equivalences, up to explicitly given wall-crossing terms.

Dr. Dulip Piyaratne is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Xiamen University Malaysia with a Ph.D degree in Mathematics from the University of Edinburgh. His research interests are in Algebraic Geometry, particularly these include Derived Categories, Stability Conditions, Fourier-Mukai Transforms, and Donaldson-Thomas Invariants.
