23 XMUM Teams Shine at 2nd China-Malaysia Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

The Innovation Center congratulates 23 XMUM teams for bringing home 6 First Prizes, 6 Second Prizes, 7 Third Prizes and 4 Consolation Prizes from the 2nd China-Malaysia Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, with a total cash prize of RM9,900.  

Initiated by the Promotion Association for Global Youth Innovation Leaders Community (PILC), this competition was organized by Xiamen University Malaysia, Platform for China-Malaysia Joint Research and Demonstration of Solid State Lighting Technology, TusStar Malaysia, and Koperasi Graduan Muda Kebangsaan Berhad (KoGRAD).

Project Description: This project aims to create an extraordinary lighted buoy, combineing traditional lighted buoy and TENG power generation technology based on triboelectric nanogenerator. Powered by seawater fluctuation, it has no boundary in power generation.

Project description: Spykiller, is a clip-on "discovery + blocking" anti-sneak shooting detector to improve the success rate of spy-detecting cameras. Spykiller can be used in private houses, rental properties and shared accommodation to ensure the house safety.

Project description: This project aims to develop an intelligent pet transport box. The box can detect the health status of pets during transport. The data will be transferred to Hipets APP, thus the pet owners can monitor the real-time condition of their pets.
