XMUM Career Insiders Series – Dream It Possible
2017-12-09To better prepare students for the world of work, Career Services Office, XMUM has launched a few initiatives such as XMUM Career Insiders Series (CIS), to help students acquire knowledge about practical working environment as well as to understand current work practices.
On 24 May 2017, Career Services Office, XMUM held a CIS for Journalism students. Mr. Gan Wil Chang, who is currently employed by Astro AEC as news director, was invited to shed light on the working life and career opportunities in media and entertainment industry.
This event started with a sharing session by Mr. Gan, followed by a panel discussion hosted by two XMUM Journalism students. This event ended with a group photo-taking session.
CIS is an event that features professionals from different industries speaking to XMUM students about their work experience. The objective is to provide students an opportunity to hear first-hand and learn from successful executives from their respective industry on how to become highly employable graduates as well as what to expect when entering the workforce.
