2018-06-29

To expand our partnership globally, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and an Agreement have been signed between College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS), University of Cincinnati and Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM).

Now selected engineering students of XMUM have the chance to pursue their Master Degree at CEAS, University of Cincinnati (UC), as long as they meet UC’s admission requirement. Moreover, based on the agreement, those XMUM students admitted to UC’s MEng programme would be offered partial fees waiver.

In order to be accepted by CEAS for MEng programme, students must possess a bachelor of engineering from XMUM, graduating with CGPA of 3.0 and above while maintaining GPA of 3.0 and above for the entire senior year. Students who are keen to apply for the above mentioned programme must meet the relevant English Proficiency Test requirement, with an option to take TOEFL, IETLS, or PTE test. GRE test is waived by the agreement.

In addition, XMUM and UC are having discussion on UC programmes that would be open to XMUM students from programmes other than engineering.

For details regarding the MEng programme at UC, students may refer to UC website. Alternatively, the International Affairs Office of XMUM will be happy to provide assistance to students who are interested in this programme.
