Australian National University Seeks Collaboration with XMUM in Engineering Fields


College of Engineering and Computer Sciences (CECS), Australian National University (ANU) is seeking potential collaboration with Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) in the field of engineering, said Dr. Adrian Lowe, Associate Dean of CECS during a visit to XMUM.

On 21 June 2019, Dr. Adrian Lowe and Ms. Audrey Teo, Acting Manager of International Recruitment & Partnership, visited XMUM and discussed about initiating postgraduate pathway for XMUM students entering ANU CECS for postgraduate studies.

They also visited a number of labs - including Material Electrochemistry Lab, Optical Power & Energy Lab, and Organic Chemistry Lab - and were greatly impressed by the well-equipped and advanced facilities. During the visit, Dr. Lowe met with XMUM students and introduced the programmes offered by and potential research fields available at ANU CECS.
