University of Hull, Kingston


A public research university established since 1927, the University of Hull (UH) has its long history in education and is England’s 14th-oldest university. UH have a proud heritage of academic excellence, and a history of creating and inspiring life-changing research. Currently, UH has 16,000 students which includes the undergraduate and the postgraduate. Also, the University of Hull has been the birthplace of many notable discoveries, including the scientific research that led to the development of LCD screens and the first ever bone density scanner. On top of that, UH had also contributed in training some of the famous people in the world. They include, the Oscar-winning film director Anthony Minghella, poet Roger McGough, BBC Radio 4 presenter Jenni Murray, and journalist; John McCarthy.

UH was awarded Silver in the Teaching Excellence Framework which recognises excellence in teaching and learning in UK Universities and colleges and rated five-star for teaching, employability and facilities by world university ranking experts, QS.

At the University of Hull, there are ample majors offered for studies. Namely, Accounting & Finance, Computer Science, Economics, International Business, Business Administration, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Environmental Change, Renewable Energy, Marine Environment, Translation, and many more. 

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between University of Hull and XMUM has been signed and XMUM is currently working with University of Hull in signing the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA).
